Actually, you contradict your own theory. The ratio of females should be higher - it's just that the hardcore male fans tend to be the ones that fill out these surveys.

Wait a minute, I can answer the question using my knowledge of statistics. Jim, you're right, only HARDCORE NG'ers so to speak would be interested in doing a survey. Because of this, you get skewed results due what statisticians call a "Voluntary Response Sample". So the results, of course, can't be believed completely.

I've noticed many artists whom have less than 4 submissions. I've also seen pencil sketches. What up with that? Are they prematurely scouted and soon to be unscouted? Same here. Though I don't watch as many Flashes as I once used to; Youtube and other sites have been eating into my time. Though there's the art portal now... which is very addictive...
I do find the overall immature level here annoying, but there are pluses too: a huge audience for animation that is much bigger than on ANY other website, the occasional mature film, the convenience of being able to showcase my animation, music AND art under one roof...
